SLEEPING - HELLO KITTY

Speaking of "I can't sleep.."! Yes this is a bad case of insomnia because every night I am just wide awake just like this. I tried everything from counting the sheep, taking a warm shower, cutting down on caffeine, eating bananas (which my co-worker swore that if you eat banana before bed time, you will fall asleep), and drinking milk. Ugh its no use!

Oh btw, I saw this at Ebay's and thought it would be cute if I use this to sleep.. hahah! Totally cute right? :p

A BAD DAY TURNED NICE

So Yesterday morning I had my big test at School. I thought I was prepared for it. I mean I studied by butt off all night and day for that test. When I was reading the questions, I felt uneasy. A feeling I've never had before.. I thought to myself, "What the F are these questions? I've never even read about them before." Turns out that what I've been studying is completely wrong? I mean, some things I read from my book came out on the test alright but not all of it. I was completely devastated. I got out of that classroom, ready to cry.

Adrian picked me up and asked how was my test. I almost cried and I told him what happened. He told me I'll be fine. We went to eat at this Filipino restaurant then he told me we're going somewhere. I said Okay.

DO YOU LIKE GETTING MASSAGES?

I fell asleep while he was driving. When I woke up, there we are at Diamonds Bar. I said "What are we doing here?" He said to wait. Then he drove in to this plaza and there he lead me to this place where they do massages. Ohhh he's treating me to a massage! Yay! I soo need it after that stressful week.

Both of us got a massage. I got a foot massage which wasn't bad. I also got my neck and head massages and of course my hands. But when it was my whole body's turn to get a massage, that's when I felt uneasy. lol. I don't like strangers touching my butt area. Haha. Ok I'm weird maybe but that's when I found out that I don't like getting massages from other people. :p

So I told my husband I wasnt happy about the massage (and I was still thankful for his effort to make me feel better. I love you Adrian) and that I want to go home. After a few minutes, we decided to go to Brea. He told me to go get my HK tote bag at the MAC Pro Store there but the only thing i did not get from that collection is the HK TLC "Pink Fish" and they were sold out!!

I got more sad than ever. I know Adrian was probably annoyed at that time because he was trying his best to make me smile but the whole time I was irritated and unhappy. :(

SOUTH COAST SURPRISE

He then told me we are going to South Coast to just look around. He brought me to Gucci store. I saw this bag and I fell in love with it. I told him, "this bag looks cute right?" I saw it online too and I thought it was really cute. He said, "yeah but its expensive." Then again, we went to LV Store and didn't see anything I like. Then to Burberry Store. I didn't see anything too.

I was getting tired and last stop would be the MAC Pro Store to get TLC Pink Fish. I told him, I wanna go to the Pro store and he told me he needs to go to the bathroom real bad. I said OK. So I went to the Pro Store and was swatching things there. After 20 minutes, he's still not back from the restroom! I already got the Pink Fish and he's still not back! I called him twice and he did not answered. He then called me back and asked me if I called. I was getting mad already. haha. He said he was just looking at some things at the Sony Store. I told him to hurry up so we can go to his Brother's house.

When I turned around, he was there standing, holding a big shopping bag. A gucci shopping bag! I was like, "What how? What in the world??" I coudn't believe it!! He got it! He's so sneaky! Haha! I was soooo happy! It was the best surprise ever to make his wifey smile. Haha. I still coudn't believe it. He got it for me. He told me, "Okay, whenever we go to the mall and I go to the restroom, don't be expecting that I'll be holding another bag of this okay?" Hahah! I said, OK!

So here it is!! Yay I was too excited to open it. I opened it very carefully :)

Yay!! Here it is!! My New found love. maybe I'll get addicted to purses next?? Maybe I'll stop haulin make up and collect purses instead. haha. Ohh the euphoric feeling when I saw this bag! :)

Here you can see how huge the bag is. I love big bags! :D Sorry, my mirror is nasty! Haha.

HAUL

So here's my Tote bag I got and the bottom picture is the TLC in Pink Fish. The TLC looks so puprle on me. Fashion Mews l/s is way better than this TLC. I didn't really like the color on me. I look so pale with it. I will probably exchange it with the HK Lipstick in Strayin.


I also went to Sephora to spend my giftcard so I got the Benefit Eye Con then they gave me this Givency primer as a sample. I got the Eye Con for the husband for his dark circles. :) Hopefully it will work. Will let you guys know.

GOSSIP GIRL CONTEST ENTRY

A Thank You Note

Thanks to all who greeted me .. I really appreciate all of you greeting me. It means so much! :) No pictures to post, nor much things to say. I had a simple wish..to be happy on my Birthday. No drama, no tears, no heartaches..

I guess you can never really have it all.

Pictures Galore! (at last!)

Yes! I was finally able to upload my pictures! How? Well, I decided to drop off the husband to work so I could visit my parents. :D I was hoping their computer would be compatible with my SD card, and to my luck, it worked! :D Yay! So update galore! :D I warned you guys already! :)



This picture was the day I got my wisdom tooth extracted. I still remember that unbearable pain. It made me lose 10 lbs just like that :( I'm trying to gain those weight back. :)


This picture was taken before I went to work. The contacts made me look different. I don't know if that's good. Haha. But its very irritating to wear so I only use it when I'm driving or reading :p
Oh, these are the things I got at Little Tokyo. :) The 1st picture, I don't know the name. LOL! I got it for $12.00 and its just a peeling gel. It works on dry skin. I use it on my elbow or any dry spot and it magically turns my skin smooth. Haha. And no, I don't use it on my face :/ You can literally see the dirt and dead skin when you rub this thing onto your skin. Kinda like the SANA Peel Gel that Ms. Tia was talking about :) The 2nd picture was just little things I got there. The fake lashes are $1.69 each. They're lovely! I wanna get some more :D And the lil scissors is for my eyebrows. :)

Oh, remember I wanted to cut my hair? Well, here it is now! You see, its much shorter now. They added more layers and defined the ends. When I curl the layered parts, it looks great :D

Another scrub day. This what my hair looks like if I don't iron it. It looks "Eh" :p

I tried the fake eyelashes and here's what it looks like. I was on my way to work on these pictures :) Don't mind those bumps on my forehead. They appear from time to time and disappear whenever they want to. They're like these fleshy bumps and I don't know what to do. They don't look like pimples but it bothers me. :(



Another scrub day :) Of course, I had to take pictures before I go to work. Haha. The camwhore that I am :pAnd another day of me wearing faux lashes. Ohhh, I'm getting addicted. :p
Well, that's about it. Whew. Oh, I also joined Ms. Tia's Gothic Lolita Contest. :) I'll post the pictures later! Yay! :D I hope you guys had a great Sunday! Well, I did. Because after church, I went to the mall and bought myself the MAC 217 and MAC Palette Colorforms in Warm at CCO :) I really love it! :D

Sephora Wishlist

Hi ladieees! How was the Halloween? Hope everybody had a blast :) As for me, well, I worked the whole night til 7am. I worked 16 hours again. I need money to get ready for Thanksgiving Sale :p I had to shop for Christmas gifts for my love ones :D

Oh, don't forget to set your time later! :) Remember, at around 2am, we will have a fall back. So instead of 2am, it will go back to 1am. More sleep hours for us :) But then again, I don't really sleep that much. I feel like the girl in that movie "The Ring". "She doesn't sleep and she won't stop" Haha.

Anyway, I'm so excited about the Sephora FF Sale! :D I'll be breaking my "no-make-up-for-now" rule! Haha. I told myself, no more hauling til next month. I just can't help it. I know you addicts know what I'm talking about :p

I just don't know what to buy! I know I'll be getting the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. $19. I just don't know if the Shisheido one is better. I need to know your opinions ladies :) I really need a good eyelash curler :D (image credited to Sephora.com)
And since I don't use foundation, I'm also thinking of getting the Dior HydrAction Deep Hydration Skin Tint SPF 20. $38. I still have my Benefit "You Rebel Moisturizer, but I heard great reviews about this product and I just want to try it :) Actually, I tried it already at Sephora and it was OK. I still think the Giorgio Armani Face Fabric is better. So I'm not sure yet if I will get this one. :p (image credited to Sephora.com)
I also want the Nars Blush in Orgasm. $25. I've tried it at Sephora and it looks really great! :) I don't own any Nars and I just want this so bad. :p It's a very popular blush color. There's also this blush called Super Orgasm and I wonder if that's better. (image credited to Sephora.com)
That's all I'm eyeing at Sephora.com :) I'm also looking for a good liquid eyeliner. I'm tired of my L'oreal HIP Cream liner. It all dried out and I'm getting tired of wetting it everytime I need to use it :( So any suggestions for a good waterproof eyeliner?? Help me out! :)

Tranced! Happy Halloween!

Tranced = Detachment from one's physical surroundings, as in contemplation or daydreaming.

Sigh. I came home from work at around 9:30PM. Pretty early for me because usually I come home past 11pm or sometimes 7am the next day. Its dreadful! But I gotta do what I need to do to pay the bills and still get what I want. :p But I still don't get everything. I know, you can't have everything you want, but..but.. :(

Sometimes, whenever there's a downtime at work, I find myself daydreaming. Seriously, like there's no one around me. I usually think of things I want to buy or places I want to travel. Haha. Its weird. Sometimes, I would daydream about what I need/want to do the next day. Isn't weird? I don't know.. I've always been like that.

Oh, my boss/shift lead let me go early today because I only went to work for training. I'm training to be the next med room person at the hospital where I'm working. Being in the med room is pretty scary. If I make a mistake, oh, there goes my license. Haha.

Its already 1:02AM. It's officially HALLOWEEN!!! Happy Halloween to Everyone! Boo Me, I'm working today :/
I know you gals already have your costumes ready and all pumped up to go party. Lucky! :/ Anyway, since its halloween, there's a lot of scary movies on T.V. right now. I mentioned on one of my entries that I love watching Horror movies even though I get scared very easy! :/

What Scares me?
1. Huge roller coasters! Can you believe I've never been to Six flags magic mountain? I'm scared to go on those big coasters. I feel like I'm going to lose my breath up there. :/
2. Lake! I will never ever swim in a lake! I sometimes think there's something in that lake and will pull my leg down and drown me. And another thing why I'm scared of lakes is because my friend drowned in a lake just this year. :( Happy Slip even made a tribute video for him. :(
3. Clowns! I do not like clowns. I think they are scarier than dracula!

I think that's it. For now at least. Haha. :) Oh, my friend told me that there's going to be a 40% Sale for Friends and Family at Ulta on Saturday. I really don't know the details. I'm not planning on spending/buying anything right now, so I'll pass :)

Let me share an old picture of mine. This was taken last year (2007). Haha. Yeah I used to wear glasses. I switched to contacts, and now I'm thinking of getting a new pair of glasses. :)

My Make Up Storage and Palette

Hi ladies (and gents)! I wasn't able to go to Orange County. Instead we went to church early morning then hit Ontario Mills Mall to see if they have anything new at CCO. They still have some Fafi's and Heatherettes so you gals who have been wanting to get them should visit CCO at Ontario Mills now because they sell like hot pancakes! The Fafi "Hipness" Blush were all SOLD OUT! :/ Good thing I got one last week. I got 2 lipgloss. I took pictures of em but yeah I can't upload them anyway. :( I got Fafi "Cult Fave" Lipglass and "Power Supply" Plushglass. I dunno what's the difference and why the Plushglass are more expensive than the lipglass. Is it better?

Anyway, I decided to repost my "Designing your Make Up Storage" entry. I actually posted them on my old bloggie but since some of you ladies have not seen them yet, why not repost it. Haha. Totally genius to repost some old entries since I don't have new pictures to show you guys. lol. Forgive me.

Anyway, this is what I did on my Coastalscents Palette. I got this idea from Lurve. Then it inspired me to design my Make Up Storage. :) It was very fun doing this.

The Materials I used:
- Scrapbook papers from Michael's craft store (ranges from $59cents to $2.99 - depends on the texture of the paper.)
- Glue which is also from Michael's craft Store. I believe this is $1.99 and this glue can be used on all types of materials such as wood, paper, glass etc.
- Scissors of course
- Make up Palette
- Make up Storage


I just cut these scrapbook papers to fit in my Steralite Organizers and voila! Here's what it looks like: It looks neat and organized (even though the inside its not! haha) And I don't have enough make up to fill in these drawers so I don't think I'll be getting another drawer. :) I'm pretty much happy and content with my organizers.


SO this pretty much ends my entry. Sorry again for not posting new pictures. :) But hopefully I'll get my lappy fixed soon. (I found out that my old lappy has 2 years warranty! Yay) But I'm still lemming for that MACbook :) Byee ladies! G'nite!

My Contest Entry

OMGoodness! I wasn't able to check my blog yesterday because I worked 16 hours again last night. Why am I working too much? Haha! I am actually working for time so I can have a month vacation next year. They gave me the month of January which is my birthday month, and its almost January!! So I gotta work for more time :D 8 hours overtime is equal to 12 hours so I need like 10-12 overtimes so I can have a month off :D I'm excited! Haha!

Tomorrow, If I wake up early, I might go to Orange County and go to some Oriental Markets there. Any ideas where I can get a Ly-na Pearl Cream there? and some Japanese Magazines? :D I really want those goodies! :D

Oh btw, I'm planning to design the interior of my car. I'm thinking of Monokuro Boo as my theme. Haha. I just love those piggies :) What do you guys think? :D


And oh, my co-worker was trying to convince me to buy his Shar Pei. OMG! Only for $200. It was really tempting but I didn't get it. :( Puppies are not allowed where I live and I couldn't possible take care of her because I go to work and sometimes won't come home til the next day :(
Look how cute a Shar Pei is. Btw, Its a Chinese Breed kind of dog. Ahhh! I really really want it!! She looks adorable with all those wrinkles on her face. I just wanna cuddle her :(

And now, for the real purpose of this entry, I joined Ms. Mimi/Beauty is Androgynous Contest. I'm so excited because I really love wearing Neutral looks. Anyway, this pictures that I am about to post are taken like 2 weeks ago because as all of you know, I cannot upload my pictures on this laptop because my Memory Stick/Card Slot is not compatible with this laptop. I hope my entry will still be considered since I only used 3 products. Yup, 3 products! Yay! The Contest Challege was to create a neutral look using only 3 products.

In these pictures, I am wearing:
- Gray Contacts (which is not counted as 1 product)
- Softlips Lipbalm (which is also not counted as 1 product)
- Benefit "That Gal" Brightening Primer (Counted as 1 product)
- L'oreal Voluminous Mascara (Counted as 1 product)

That is equal to 3 products used. :D If I were to add another product on this look, I will add a little bit of lipgloss and I'm ready to go :D

Passion of Red

The new MAC Collection "HOLIDAY RED SHE SAID" has finally released! To be honest, I'm not that excited on this collection. I don't know, Maybe because the colors can be easily dupable, and yeah I don't have the means to be spending a lot now since I want a new lappy and my old lappy still needs to get fixed.

I'm thinking of getting the Devoted Poppy: 6 Classic Eyes for $38.00. But I still need to swatch them to make sure if I really want to spend $38 for this palette.
I also want their brushes but can't find the justification to spend $49.50 for these brushes when I can find some drugstore brushes that are comparable to this. Sigh. The Adoring Carmine which is a lipstick/lipgloss set looks very cute but again, I need to swatch them and try them on before I buy them.

So what you guys going to buy? :)

About work, ah! Work is so stressful! I know I say this a lot but its true. Dealing with mental patients are like baby sitting 2-5 year old kids. Running around with their foods, throwing tantrums like crazy. Disobeying rules and a lot more. Its mentally draining. :/ And remember that girl I talked about on one of my post? Why do I always bump into her? I mean I am now avoiding her since I found out that she told some of our co-workers that she doesn't like me, but everyday I always bump into her! Sometimes we have the same groups and it irritates me because I tried saying hi to her but she ignored me. I looked at her and she looked away. I mean how childish can she be? To think she's already 25 years old! She's acting like one of my patients. LOL. I seriously don't know why she got mad. I want to confront her but she keeps on avoiding me. Oh well. Frienemies. Gotta hate them. Haha!

I gotta sleep now. Work again tomorrow. :)
