My Take on this Review:

Remember how I raved about this product and how it made my skin so soft, lightened my scars, and made my blemishes disappear? Well it still does! (Click for pictures) As a matter of fact, I have it on right now. Whenever I have some blemishes on my forehead, this product never fails me and always heals my acne. I love it so much that it hurts me that I will finally stop using it.

Why you might ask?

I did my research and I found out that it has been banned in some Asian countries for more than 10 years now! Why would they ban such a great product? Because it contains mercury!!! (Here's the source: Click)

What can mercury do to us?

Well, it lightens our skin, removing the 1st layer of our skin, and eventually thins it out, making us very sensitive to the sun. Our skin will get tan easily, our skin will be very sensitive thus when you discontinue using it, skin can get damage as it will be very sensitive to a lot of things. Yes, it will help your skin clear blemishes and all that but in the long run, you will see more damage to your skin. Read this article also: Click

Long effects of Mercury

- impairment of peripheral vision

- disturbances in sensations - that 'pins and needles' feeling as well as numbness - usually in the hands feet and sometimes around the mouth

- lack of coordination of movements, such as writing

- impairment of speech, hearing, walking

- muscle weakness

- skin rashes

- mood swing, memory loss, and mental disturbances

Coming into contact with too much mercury this way can damage a growing brain, harming the way unborn and young children will be able to think and learn. It can also harm anyone's heart, kidneys, lungs, and immune system.

I was getting frustrated after reading and researching all of these and getting irritated about all this, and the husband was trying to tickle me and all that while I was typing this. I said, "Stop it with irritating voice", and he's like "That's the side effects of LY-NA! mood swings!" I frowned and remembered, I still have the LYNA on my face. You see, I had the LYNA put on my face after work, then I decided I wanna research more about the LY-NA. Then found out all of these. It made me so sad and so mad.

The Verdict:

As much as this product made my skin so beautiful and removed all of my blemishes, I had to stop it. I knew it was too good to be true. Magical indeed but I can't risk it. I'm just too scared that I might give more damage to my sensitive skin. Lesson learned. Research about a product 1st before using it. Its so hard. :( Good bye LY-NA Pearl Cream. This will be the last day that I will be using you. I know the husband will be very glad. No more old lady smells. :( *tears*
