Beauty Review: MUFE Lift Concealer

NOTE: Try this product at your own risk. If it works for me, it does not mean it will work for you too. Everyone has different types of skin. My skin consists of dry -combination - sensitive type of skin.

According to Sephora.com, 

MAKE UP FOREVER LIFT CONCEALER is more than just a concealer. It contains TENSINE which is an active ingredient with skin-firming properties for the eye area, and Vitamin A and E, which regenerates the skin. The multi-purpose product also conceals specific, dark areas (brown spots, blotches or redness, etc) and can be used as a highlighter on the more prominent parts of the face (cheekbones, forehead and chin) for added radiance.

PROS: In my opinion, $22 is worth spending for this concealer! I returned the Benefit Boi-ing concealer because its not doing anything on my face and it looks cakey. But this MUFE Lift Concealer is truly amazing! It gives me radiance, makes my face brighter, hides the imperfections like acne scars and redness. It does not look cakey as well unlike other concealers. It also stays put even under the sun for hours with sweat and mist. - a crease resistant indeed!

After I take a shower, I washed my face with my regular cleanser, applied the MUFE HD PRIMER (which I will review later on..) Then I apply the MUFE Lift Concealer on all the areas I want. Then I blend it away.

Then I topped it off with the MAC DAME EDNA POWDER in "What A Dame". Look how it made my face looks bright and clear.

CONS: While reading some of the reviews from Sephora.com, some people claim that is too thick or its too dark on them. It received 4/5 stars. Other than that, do your own research because I could not think of anymore cons. hehe!

OVERALL: Its a great concealer! Will definitely buy it again! The Vitamin A and E is a plus and I like how it also heals my acne. Whenever I put in on my acne, I noticed that the inflammation would decrease until it dries up.

UPDATE 5/28/09

Yay Its almost Friday! I'm off Sunday-Monday and looking forward to do more Beauty Reviews (hopefully if I don't get too busy!) and guess what?? I passed my class - with flying colors! I did not expect to get such high grades considering I did eenie-meenie-minee-moee on the exam! Haha!

What else? Hmm.. Ohh I gave up my Blackberry Storm. Why? My carrier is AT&T and that Storm is supposed to be for Verizon only but I used it anyway, although I cannot use the full function of it like I can't download lots of things and it made me mad so I'm selling it! Haha! I don't have twitter on my phone right now - that explains my MIA on twitter.

I am trying to complete my MAC Brushes. I mean not all of it but I will buy maybe 2 brushes per paycheck [hopefully].

Bling Bling

Hello ladies (and gents)! :) I should be studying right now. I have a test on Thursday and a quiz *yup same day* about Cardiovascular and Skeletal System. *SIGH* So I have tonight and tomorrow to study because Tues and Wednesday, I had to work. Grrr. damn. I don't know how to manage my time good because here I am checking my gmail and twitter. ahaha. Lame. and now posting something not important :P

My Blackberry Storm - getting used to it, I do have some complaints like it freezes, or the net is too slow or the battery doesnt lasts me all day (since I'm always on twitter and yahoo messenger at work). But I do love my phone :) So I want to get me a nice case but I can't seem to find one that I want, until I saw this on ebay: Check out the store: MY BLING THINGZ and RAN*SMILE

This is not for the Storm but it says on her site that she can make it for the storm. I fell in love with it because its Hello Kitty and it shines like no other :) I love shiny things! HAH! :) But buying this is like buying a phone! $179.99! Gah! So Swarovski crystals are that expensive?? Sheeshhh...

This one is for the Iphone but I'm sure she can also make one for the Storm. Isnt pretty? *gasp* and this one costs an arm and a leg too.. maybe plus the neck. :*( I wanttt ittt.. but too darn expensive! :(

You ladies who are expert in Swarovski *DSKNguyen and Mona* Is Swarovski Crystals really that expensive? I wonder if I could get some Swarovski and attempt to make one myself.. ahahah :)

Yay!! Another update! I'm on a roll :p Lots of you wants me to do random updates - more personal stuff. I don't mind updating anything that's in my mind but I don't wanna bore you guys out. LOL! If you only read my personal multiply (which I stopped updating), you will see random updates like "Ohh I just saw this flip-flops and I want it" Haha. Something like that. Short and sweet :P

I don't have work today, so I went to pick up my paycheck (not too happy because of the paycut) but was too lazy to go to the bank to deposit it so I told Adrian to do that tomorrow. Besides I HAVE A TEST ON THURSDAY and I need to do major studying today (which I don't feel like it).

I LEFT MY <3 IN SAN FRANCISCO

I went to check the mail and to my surprise, there's a bubble envelope waiting for me there. I squeeled with joy when I saw who it came from :) Its from my Youtube and Twitter friend MELANIE. <-- click to check her YT videos. She's amazing :) So, we've been talking through twitter and updating each other because I am going to San Francisco soon and would love to meet her :) She mentioned that their CCO is amazing so I have to check it out when I get there :) Adrian was asking, who is it from? and I told him about her and how we met and all that stuff :) I was excited to open it. :) and when I opened it, I felt I was in LA LA Land! Or more like HK land. Hahaha. She hooked me up! :) She is sooooo generous! She filled the envelope with lots of HK goodies from stationaries, tissue, band-aid to decorations. Ohhh I love everything! and what's that surprise thingy that is wrapped with white paper and cute yellow tape?? :)

TA-DA!!!! My Heatherette LOLLIPOP LOVING!!! Ohhhhhhhh!!! I'm so happy! *dancing with joy* Lala.. lala.. :) Haha! I'm just to excited about it. I went to MAC Counter and tried this on and I felt like I wanna buy it but I waited..and I got a better one with cute packaging! :) Isn't pretty?? Say yes yes.. ahaha! :P

She included a sweet note. This is what I LOVE about her. She informed me that her package is going to get delayed and I know from the very 1st start why and I know already that her package won't come any sooner, and she is NICE enough to let me know :) You know what I mean? Heh :P

Dearest Melanie, Thank You so much for your generosity, and I know you don't have to do this for me but you still did and what even more got me is you even included some HK in your package. Awww.. you didn't have to :) You are a very sweet girl and yes I would LOVE to meet you when I get there. We need to keep in touch. Thank You again for this sweet package. :) I'll love you long time :)

After all the dramas I went to (I'm itching to go detail by detail on this but I'm trying to restrain myself) regarding swapping and all that, I'm glad there's a lot of people out there who cares :)

NAILS and SHADOWS

These are my sad attempt of painting my nails using China Glaze Nail Polish. I personally love the 5th Avenue Nail polish :) The 2nd picture is just a disaster. Haha! I didn't use any sticker to make my french line even that is why its all ugly and crooked :P I'm still new to this stuff and hopefully I'll make it better next time :)



I depotted some of my eyeshadows and decided to put them in this quad. I wanna do a B2MAC once I get 6 empty containers. Hehee. So far I have 5! :p

Then the purple one is actually a pressed pigment. I did it last night since I can't sleep. Its called Lovely Lily pigment. Then the orange e/s is Evening aura e/s/

and last is just a picture of me with my sad attempt 2 green eyeshadow blended together. Hehe. This is after 16 hours of application. Yup, its around 12:30AM - I just came home from work :P

Hello Kitty Madness and Some Updates

Omgoodness! I feel like I haven't been on blogger for sooo long! I lurked, but that's just it. I commented on some but I haven't really been paying attention or reading my my blogger gal's entries. I miss you so much ladies!!!

Where I have been?? Well, School and work is taking so much of my time. I didn't know its so hard to work and go to school at the same time. I can't really focus. :( The good thing is I passed my 1st long exam. But I have another one coming up (Thursday) so wish me luck for that because my anxiety is increasing as days pass by :( Oh, this is the 9th day of my "no make up haulin" I'm proud of myself but it is depressing at the same time :(

THE PINK BAG

One day, I went to work really stressed out, then one of my co-workers (who I barely talk to, or let's just say, we don't usually talk) gave me a pretty pink bag with a hello kitty on the front. Imagine my excitement??? Haha! I was thinking, "OMGosh What's the occasion?? Did I do something for her to give me this??" There was a note inside that says, "I thought I'd share with you my love for Hello Kitty.. Welcome to the club :)" I thought it was really sweet. She noticed the frame of my plate number and that's how she knew that I love hello kitty. Plus my car's rugs and steering wheel are all hello kitty. :)

SO WHAT'S INSIDE THE PINK BAG??

She gave me this Hello Kitty Bag, and I'm glad because I wasn't able to get the bag/vanity case from the MAC Hello Kitty Collection. I can put my make up in here. Yay! She also put some bubble bath and lotion inside. Also she gave me some hello kitty stickers. The other one I got at the Kitty House located at Irvine :)

She also put some miscellaneous stuff in there like Hello Kitty lipgloss, Cellphone charm, candies, and chocolates. I really love them. I already ate the Ghiradelli's! lol!

This is my favorite!!! It is a compact mirror with hello kitty crystals in front of it. Kinda similar to the MAC Hello Kitty Kouture compact. So now, I don't have a reason to get that ridicolously overpriced compact that they're selling. :p Look how cute! It even has a black case. :)

I thought I'd share with you guys my screen saver for my MACBook. Please show me how I can costumize my desktop.

Thursday afternoon, the husband and I went to Kitty House. They have lots of Hello Kitty things there and I felt like I was in heaven. lol. Its so expensive though. :( I only got 2 things which are the stickers and a cellphone pad :) Its so cute. Haha!

ARE YOU TIPSY YET??

So, the husband and I went to a party with my co-workers and friends. I didn't feel like dressing up and I was not feeling well. lol. So here are some pictures of us.

Post Valentines Day

HAPPY LATE VALENTINES DAY!!!

Valentines Update:
I know this post has been 2 days late :p But I wanna post this entry anyway. :) So, as some of you know, Adrian and I both worked on Valentines Day (February 14) so we decided to go out last Friday (February 13)...

...we went to this Thai Restaurant near Victoria Gardens and ordered my favorite dish there. "trout" :) I forgot to take pictures of the main dishes. :( But I managed to take a pic of the dessert. Haha. Its so cute, and yummy....


...After the late lunch, we went to Ontario Mills and watched "Confessions of A Shopaholic" It was a really cute and romantic movie. Perfect for that day. Also made me realize the importance of having a "good credit" and not to spend so much on things that is not necessary. teeheehee! But its so much different from the book. The settings, friends, suitor, etc. I think I enjoyed the book more because of the different twist, so I recommend to watch the movie 1st before reading the book. Overall, I still recommend the movie :) "You speak PRADA?" :p

....After that, we decided to go to the mall, but I didn't buy anything! YAY! :) Then I saw this rainbow on the way home. I was like "wow! A full rainbow! From the beginning to the end!" Sooo pretty! Much better in person. :)

That was actually it. We kept it really simple, but Adrian said he'll make it up once we are both off again :p Hmmmm... I wonder whats his plan! Haha! :) Its actually our 3rd Valentines together now as being together.

Work Update:
They decrease our hours too. They took away 2 days/month without pay, and its gonna be hard to get overtimes too. This will go on til June 2010. :(
School Update:
So far so good. I will have my 1st accumulative test on Thursday. So much information, so little time. Seriously, I cannot concentrate because of work. Its too hard for me to understand what the heck I was reading. Hopefully I'll pass my test. :(

Its been a stressful week. Too much homework too. Blogger is one of my way of releasing stress but I still feel awfully stress! Hmmm.. :( Hopefully next week will be better.

I'll re-do my contest entry for Mona after my test. :) Wish me luck! :)

MAC Haul & Free Cosmetics

Hello again ladies! :D

I feel happy because a lot of things happened today and I also did a lot today! :D

• I finally sent all the packages and entered their tracking number so that they can track their orders through paypal. :D I hope they will get their packages soon :D
• I studied at work for an hour! :)
• I was able to do counseling with my patients.
• I went to school today and took full notes instead of being lazy. I also listen to the prof intently :D
• I got my MAC package today!
• I also got some free cosmetics. Yipee! Yay for free stuff!

So, after school, I dragged the husband to the mall to get us some free cosmetics. I also informed all of my co-workers about this. My mom also got free stuff! :D So here's all that I got *giggles*

I got the Vera Wang Body Polish, and lemme tell you, smells so good! You guys need to get this! :D You will love the smell :) and its huge! :D

Lancome Fatale Mascara in Black. Anyone tried this mascara before? Is it good?My favorite! The Estee Lauder Night Repair :) My mom and my friend got this also :) Its like a medicine with a dropper. lol!

Those are the things I got this morning, now onto my MAC haul. I took advantage of the MAC FF Sale and got these things. I also got the 187 Stiffling Brush but its still pending! Grrr! I wish I bought more brushes. :( But some of them were already Out of Stock!
