Skin Care Routine

PICTURE HEAVY!!!!

NOTE: Try the products at your own risk. If it works for me, it doesn't mean it will work for you too. Everybody has different types of skin. Please do you own research.

MY SKIN CARE ROUTINE

I actually had been thinking of posting my skin care routine for months now but I don't know how to begin.. it's been a year since I lasted posted what I use to used.

I'll post what I use first...

I guess let's start in the MORNING.
I use
♥ Belo Soap
to wash my face

then after I wash my face, if I'm going somewhere, I use any BB creams. I alternate these BB Creams that I have:
♥ Maybelline BB Cream
otherwise, if I'm staying at home, I don't do anything after I was my face. (Click products for review).

Then I do more stuff at NIGHT.
 At night, I use
to remove my make up.

Then I wash my face with a cleanser. I alternate between:
Ponds White Beauty Cleanser,
~H20+ green tea cleanser

and when I have my period week, I use
Ponds Clear Solution

Then I moisturize using
Ponds White  Beauty Cream

I used to use my Vitacreme B12 which I LOVE! But I can't find it anywhere. I guess I lost it :(

Since I sometimes work night shifts, and sleep late all the time, I like to apply eye cream (sometimes I forget!!!) to depuff my eyes. I use

That's all I do everynight  but I also use some products ONCE A WEEK.

I use
Sheet masks
to hydrate my skin. I only do this once a week because when I do it twice a week, I get rashes or redness all over my skin :(

I also use
Vitamin E oil
and apply to the areas needed such as acne scars, around my eye area to hydrate it, and dry areas. Only once a week because it might clog your pores.

These products are miscellaneous and only use it when needed:
Face Shop Spot Eraser
B●liv Spots got shots

Now on to my skin..
NOTE: I never claimed I have perfect skin. I DON'T. I just want to share with you all how I got my skin to look better than what it was before.

SKIN TYPE: Dry during winter, Combination during summer, and sensitive at times!

Let's start with BEFORE photos so you can see how horrible my skin was before.

I went to a phase where certain products did not work for me and I got these acne. I suffered for months, until I found some products which helped me a lot. (Click bolded letters to find out which products were they.)

As you can see, it was horrible. I was embarrassed, it affected my self esteem.

Then to my skin NOW. Much better. It might not be perfect, but still much better than what it used to be. Please ignore my heavily chapped lips -___- I try to capture a close up look of my skin borrowing my bro in law's DSLR for better picture.

I am happy with how my skin looks now. Of course sometimes, I still get lazy and go sleep with stuff still on my face -___- but I have learned my lesson not to try a product just because the owner of the products are popular or thought they have perfect skin so I must try what they're using. I LEARNED THE HARD WAY!

My chapped lips is so gross. -__- it gets like this during winter & no lip balm can help :( Plus I like to peel it. Yeah gross.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed my picture filled post. :) See you all next time!!

Beauty Review: YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils

Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils in Noir Radical

Ok, so I don't normally spend so much money on mascaras as you know we are suppose (yeah I really never do it) to throw our mascaras every 3 months, so that's why I usually don't like spending so much on mascaras, but I kept hearing "Oh YSL Faux Cils is such a great mascara! it's worth every penny!" So it made me curious and I finally got it during the FF Sephora Sale but didn't want to use it yet until this week. Hahaha!

I love wearing mascara! I feel like this is a must have for every girl out there. A weapon so we can all bat our lashes and feel pretty ^_^

Description from Sephora.com:
☛ An Award-winning, volumizing mascara.

☛ Yves Saint Laurent MASCARA VOLUME EFFET FAUX CILS Luxurious Mascara achieves an intense, dramatic lash look in a single stroke, for lashes that stop traffic with the blink of an eye. Its secret is the Triple-Film Complex: a film-coating for intensity, a conditioning film for curve, and a fixing film for long-lasting effectiveness.

☛The brush applicator combines nylon fibers of varying diameters for luxurious volume enhancement as never before.

Price: $30 (yeah pretty expensive for a mascara!)

It comes with 9 different shades of color. I personally like 9 Noir Radical

Here is my bare lashes. As you can see, I do have some lashes but they aren't long, not even thick. They're very thin and you can barely see them. Not much lashes on the bottom too.

Here's my lashes after 2 coats of YSL Faux Cils mascara. Noticed the difference as it got longer, thicker, more visible than the picture above.

It is a nice mascara to have. I love how it makes my lashes look longer and thicker. I think that a cheaper alternative to this is the  Buxom Lashes which is only $18. I have tried Buxom and its also as great as the YSL Faux Cils. :)

You can see that it can get clumpy. That's one CON i can think of, oh and also the price I guess, because I feel like this mascara is so expensive.

Overall, I will repurchase. It's nice to have a high end mascara every now and then :P Blame me for being vain but my lashes deserves it! hahaha!! Just playing :)

My Vacation Haul

Thank you for all the people who read my vacation posts. I still feel ecstatic just remembering on how much fun I had during those short weeks. I wish I can go again but I know it will probably take years again before I can go on another vacation. I don't have any more paid days at work. Must accumulate more. Haha :)

Anyway, I did buy some stuff here and there. Didn't really shopped much. I wish I did but I was on a budget when I went on a vacation & the purpose of our mini vacation was actually to see our love ones there :)

Ok so here are the stuff I got..
These are called "Missing U hand cream" Very cute right? I only got it because of the packaging & I'm not planning to use it at all! Hahahah!! Etude House products are really nice & I love the packaging!! :P I believe these are $8.99 :)

Ponds White Beauty Powder - I got this one at the Philippines and totally forgot how much. I bought lots of Ponds products. The Ponds that they sell here in the US have mineral oil which I really don't like in a product. When I was looking at the ingredients on these Ponds products in the Philippines, I was surprised they didn't contain mineral oil so I bought different stuff to try :)

This one was a gift from Adrian. We got it at Green Hills and thought its the perfect bag to put on my make up when I go to any sleep over. It's small but its perfect!

Another Ponds product I want to try. I think this is their version of the famous "LYNA Pearl Cream" and hopefully this one is better (like no mercury or harmful stuff) Hahaha! :) Will review this once I started using it (yeah haven't used it yet).

Another Etude House product I got. This is their LUCIDarling Rough Lipstick in Million Pixel Lavender. Again, super cute packaging right? I haven't used it. Hahah! It's my only one :( I feel like its too nice to use. Hahaha.. I know I'm weird. I want more colors. I'm seriously thinking of getting more Etude House products :)

66 Big Eye Vitcara Mascara - super nice mascara for my lower lashes. Its so easy to use on my lower lashes because its wand is like a comb :) It's cheap too! $11.99

LUDIDarling Fantastic Gradation Eyes - such a beautiful palette! beautiful packaging! I love the colors too!! :) I'm so happy I got this!

I got the BB Bright cream and this was just a suggestion by the SA. I was looking for a BB cream to try and she said this will match my complexion. Haven't really used it yet because I still have so many BB creams I have to go through :)

Another BB cream I bought. I actually used this already and I will review it really soon :)

Then here are some masks I got at Sasa when I was in Singapore. Masks there are expensive! LOL! I got this because I didn't bring any sheet masks on my trip and my skin was so oily over there. I thought this will help my skin. I only got to try the Apple one so far because it says Anti-blemish. Well, I think it worked :) So far, not much break out :D

Hanskin Sheet Masks I got at Korean Airport :)

My aunt gifted me with this super cute Hello Kitty water dispenser. :P

Last, but not the least is the new member of our family (lol). I named her Baby Kiki. Hahahah!!! She's as  pink as my Juicy!! hahahahah!! :P Yes I love her! She's given to me by Adrian so I love her even more because of that :) He wanted to name her "LOTSA" which is the female version of "LOTSO" in Toy Story 3.. I was like "no way! She's not evil!" hahaha! :P

Hope everybody is having a great day/night! If I did some typos, forgive me, I'm so tired right now, feeling really sick :( I just took some Emergen-C.
That's all I got during my vacation :) hopefully I'll have another vacation soon :D

FTC: I bought everything with my own money. Not affiliated with Sanrio or hello kitty (i wish! lol)

Singapore-Philippines Vacation -- Part 8

Note: lots of pics in this post

Part 8! Last one! :) These have been such a great journey for me. This vacation was the best I've ever had! Imagine, I didn't visit the Philippines since I came to Cali for 7 long years. I don't know why I didn't. All I know was I've been busy making a new life here. New friends. New everything. It was so hard adjusting in a new county, new environment. I missed my friends back home. I'm so happy I met some amazing friends here.

Here are the recap:

BAGUIO CITY!
Next trip: Baguio! I've always think this statue at the road going to Baguio looks like a gorilla! Hahah! :P

Here is the hotel we stayed in! Its so nice! It's 3 bedroom! :D

The bathroom :)

The kitchen & living room

Here is the hubby and me's bedroom :D

We went to one of the famous spots in Baguio. "Mine's View Park"

This place looks so much different now. I think it looks  better before. But that's just my opinion. Now its so crowded, so many houses, not much of a great view anymore. But I guess still nice.

We bought some "taho" (soy beans/tofu) I miss eating it that I think I drank/ate 2 cups! Hahaha!! It just taste so good! Now I want it again!

hmmmm.... yummy!!!

Mama Lily (my grandmother), Francesca (Adrian's sister), Adrian, Me, and Mommy Mernie (Adrian's mom)

Eating some fish balls!

Having fun with my siblings in law ^_^

St. Bernards! So cute!! They're huge!! Hahaha!!

The view at Mine's View Park

Adrian's cute brother :)

My grandmother who took care of me since birth because my mother has to continue her nursing school. I love her so much. She is the best mother anyone can have.

I enjoyed Baguio so much! I enjoyed Philippines so much! I hope to be back soon!

At the airport -- going home to Cali with my new baby ♥
