February Favorites

I know.. I know.. its late :P But I still want to share with you guys my February Favorites ♥

1. L'egere BB cream - it's not a secret on why I love this foundation. It hides all of my imperfections! You all know how my skin look like right? If not, here's a recap: http://withadriyah.blogspot.com/2010/02/beauty-review-iqqu-acne-serum-and.html

But because of L'egere, you don't see those ugly zits in the pictures :P

2. Korres Body Butter in Guava - I really love this Korres body butter! My skin feels so soft whenever I use it. I want mooooore :P

3. Buxom Lash Mascara - I love this mascara! The wand is so different from other mascaras that I've used. I need to review this soon :)

4. Dior Concealer - I like this concealer. I just use this for redness around my nose area.

5. Sephora Lip stain - I love the berry stain look. Really just awakens my whole face when I use this lip stain alone. :)

6. Benefit You Rebel Moisturizer - I use this whenever I feel like using nothing on my face. You know,  the "no make up" look. When I go to work, I don't like using a foundation, so I use this moisturizer. At least it has an SPF to protect me from the sun :)

7. M●A●C Hello Kitty Lip Conditioner - I love this lip conditioner. I use this whenever I feel like using "nude-y pink".

8. Nars Blush in Angelika - Thanks to Tammy who gave me this blush. It's just the perfect blush for me :)

Love Package and January Favorites

Hello again! ♥

Yesterday and today, I didn't work 16 hours! hooray for 8 hour shifts. LOL. It's almost Valentines Day. What you girls going to do with your hubbies? :) I hope he will take you out and just pamper you for V-day :D Unfortunately, Adrian and I are working that day. But it's all good. I feel so pampered everyday anyway with his sweetness :P

a week after my birthday, I got some lovely packages from these lovely blogger girls.  They are just too sweet. I love them! :)

This lovely package came from Edna (abcgrrrl.com) I've met her in person and she is a sweetheart :) She sent me a cute birthday card, two O.P.I. nailpolish *btw, she's the one who gave me my 1st O.P.I. nailpolish* and a Benefit palette :)

Benefit in Celebutante. Such pretty palette with these gorgeous lip products and a high beam (highlighter) and also Dallas bronzer :)

I wanted to make a video of this but I'm just too tired and besides I'm already in my pajamas. hahah! So I decided to join the bandwagon and do "Monthly Favorites" as well. ♥

1. Clinique Extra Mild Cleanser - I'm half way through and this is my 10th bottle already! Haha! I changed cleansers so many times but I just keep on coming back to this cleanser. It is so mild and just washes away all the dirt. This is recommended for people who has sensitive skin. Indeed EXTRA MILD because it didn't break me out.

2. and 3. Korres Body Butter in Yogurt and Guava - these are my HG lotions. They're the  best! As a person who always washes her hands, it gets extra dry so I needed a lotion that will keep my hands soft and smooth. These babies keep them super soft! I will never use other lotions besides these. I will seriously keep on buying them. After I take a shower, I slather the Yogurt body butter on my skin and it will feel amazing afterwards :)

4. M.A.C. Brush Cleanser (in a Hello Kitty bottle) - when I'm in a hurry, I just spot clean my brushes. I love it because it doesn't smell strong, plus it look cute in my hello kitty bottle :P

5. Sea Results Eye Mender Plus - you guys know I work lots of 16 hours and rarely gets my sleep, so I needed a good eye cream so I won't get puffy eyes or dark circles, and this eye cream does its job! My co-workers are like "Oh so, you got some good rest huh? You look well rested" hahaha, what they don't know is even if I don't work 16 hours, I still sleep like around 3am or 4am :P

6. Hard Candy Blush in Living Doll - I've been using this everyday since the day I got it from the mail (Thanks Mel!) and its just so pretty! I love how it looks on my skin (refer to the swatch).

7. Sephora Lip Stain - I love the "berry stained lips" look. It just looks so fresh, looks so nice if you aren't wearing any eye make up.

8. Benefit "Dear John" Moisturizer - This is my 4th jar already! I just love how it moisturize my skin! (My review: http://withadriyah.blogspot.com/2008/10/beauty-review-benefit-dear-john.html) Adrian loves the smell of this on my face plus when I woke up in the morning, my skin look fresh and glowing :)

June Haul

I was off last Tuesday (06/02) and Adrian was too so we decided to go to Orange County and just have fun.. :) I got a massage - I know I said before my 1st time was so horrible but this time it was actually great! They put hot stones on my back and it felt relaxing.. The oil and cream was also warm and it felt so good, it was soothing :) Hope to go back there again soon! :D

We also went to South Coast but I didn't really buy anything. I went to Sephora to return the Korres Yogurt Mask because it did not do anything on  my skin. That Yogurt Mask was actually for people who has oily skin and I have dry skin! It dried my skin more! So I got the Korres Thyme Honey Mask for Dry Skin! I tried it last night and it was looovveee! I will review it more later.

Then I went to MAC to do a B2M. I don't know what to get.. so I decided to just get the MAC Dazzleglass in Baby Sparks. It is so pretty. Kinda like a baby doll pink.

So far, I now have 5 Dazzleglasses. They're so pretty! I love how glittery they are but I'm not crazy about their stickiness.

Then I stopped by at Wet Seal and Sanrio to get some Hello Kitty things. I love my new sleep wear. I love Hello Kitty Stickers too. and the Decal for my car. :)

I also went to Ontario CCO but I only got one thing. I got this Mineralized Blush in Gleeful. Such a pretty summery blush. I love the natural flush it gives.

I also "tried" to lighten my hair but it wasn't successful. I darkened my hair 2 months ago so when I tried to lighten it back, it did not work. It stayed the same but somehow the top of my head is lighter than the ends of my hair.

See what I mean? Lighter on the roots, darker on the ends. Totally like I had some low lights. lol. Its crazy! I'm scared to re-do it as it might damage my hair. :(

Hello Hello!! :) Its 2:13AM.. Yup, one of those days that I can't sleep.. I blame it on the Iced Cold White Chocolate Mocha that I chugged a while ago. :) I went to Orange County with Adrian to visit my brother in law and his wife, and guess what? I did an FOTD! Yay! :D Its been awhile since I did my last FOTD/EOTD so enjoy.. ahaha!

I did more damage at Orange County.. Well, not really because I didn't spend that much. I used my giftcard to buy some of these things :) So, that made me really happy! :D

This headband is really unique. The husband said I looked like a peacock/chicken. ahaha! But I think its really pretty and I got some compliments a while ago while wearing this. :)

Then the husband let me get another one of this because its just too great! Really nice for summer. I am not a fan of any MAC Powders (except for my HK Kouture Powder) but there's something in this powder that makes my skin smooth and soft.

I finally got this eyeshadow!! Yay!! This is "All That Glitters". I've been lemming it since I can remember :) So I'm glad they have this at the CCO!! You won't believe how many eyeshadows they have at Ontario! They have Electric Eel, Nocturnelle, Pink Venus, Sable, Soft Brown, Humid, Freshwater and so much more!

This eyeshadow called "Henna" is going back to the CCO! Why? Take a look at the second picture below this! OMG Totally the same as my "Mink and Sable" and "Sumptuous Olive" Ugh! Makes me so mad for buying this! I'll just exchange it for something else!

Then I went to MACYS to return the Clinique Eye Make Up Remover that I got a month ago. Its just not working. It won't even remove my eyeliner completely, leaving me with racoon eyes in the morning. I thought they discontinued the Cleansing Balm but she told me they have a few more left so I was happy I was able to get this and just paid $11 because of the returned product.

Then I went to Sephora because I remember I still have $$$ left from the giftcard they gave me. My overall purchase was $60+ but I ended up paying only $12+.. How cool! hahaha! I love giftcards..

I got the Korres Yogurt Mask and I have it on today! I will do a review soon :) I'm so happy to finally get this! This is my 2nd Korres product. I'm so stoked! Haha!

I tried this MUFE Lifting Concealer at Sephora and fell in love with it. I must have it. Its priced for $22. Too much in my book. Good thing I have the giftcard or else I wouldn't get it. Haha.. I'll do a review soon. Hopefully it won't break me out!

..and this is a deluxe sample. I want to try Laura Mercier products.. but foundie is the last thing I wanna try since I do not use foundie no more... oh well! :p

Beauty Review: Korres Wild Rose Mask

NOTE: Try this product at your own risk. If it works for me, it does not mean it will work for you too. Everyone has different types of skin. My skin consists of dry-combination-sensitive type of skin.

Korres Wild Rose Mask is a brightening and Vitamin C Mask. It is suitable for any skin type and the effects will be visible right after use. It targets skin discolorations and promotes skin renewal, adding brightness and radiance to the skin.

It does not contain any of the following:

• Parabens
• Sulfates
• Synthetic Dyes
• Petro-Chemicals
• Phthalates
• GMO
• Triclosan

Some of you know that Parabens can be irritating to the skin and can cause redness. Some studies says that it can also be connected to Breast cancer, although not yet proven. But its good to be on the safe side and to avoid having Parabens on your skincare products. Triclosan also was associated with the UK Cancer alert, also not proven to be that hazardous.

This product contains Wild Rose oil which is a natural source of Vitamin C, which helps aides in fine lines and imperfections.

PROS: It does brighten my face immediately after use! I love the smell and its very refreshing! I use this once a week and its been 3 weeks since I 1st use it, and I see that my scars are fading. Its a slow process though, but I'm happy that my acne scars has lightened a bit! It does not dry hard like any other mask that I've tried. It does not tighten my face, and its very easy to remove. It did not dry out my skin and you only need a small amount for the whole face.

In this picture, I only used a small amount.

You see, I still have my scars on my chin, but it did improved.

CONS: I guess the price? Haha. Nothing really. Some people said they are allergic to it. So use it at your own risk. Click for ingredients of the said product --> INGREDIENTS

OVERALL: I would definitely buy it again. I would also try the Korres Yogurt Mask and their other products! :)
