My Valentine's Day 2011

Hi Everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day, full of love, chocolates and pampering ♥ I had a wonderful two days celebration of Valentine's Day!

1ST DAY OF V-DAY

the first day of our v-day, I didn't know what his plans are. We actually did not make any reservation nor have any plans on going out thus we woke up late and stayed in bed half of the day *wink* Then we got hungry so we decided to get up and get ready. We went to West Covina to get some Filipino food. That was our brunch and early dinner. lol.

This man. He is my best friend. He is my everything :) I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. He makes me feel special. He takes care of me. He tries to give me everything he can and more. He always tells me he loves me more than I love him :P I never heard him say "I promise" because he always tells me, "I don't promise, I'll just do it". I love him so much. In fact, I love him a lot. Always and All ways.

Anyway, back to our day, he gave me my gift -- A hello kitty bag. It's so cute!! I squealed! I just love it a lot! Look at the flap and the side of the bag, it screams cuteness! : D I'm so excited to use this!

After the squealing, we went to Marukai because I need a new shampoo. I've been using the Essential for Damage hair in orange color so I decided to try this Pink one. It's only $18 something for this set. Definitely cheaper than my Tsubaki. So far I'm loving the Essential (orange one) and I can't wait to try the pink version :)

I also bought this strawberry curls. Super cute! : D and the Dollywink eyelash holder because my used fake lashes are everywhere. I even lost some of them already :(

After that, we went home, ordered my favorite Supreme Pizza with stuffed crust at Pizza hut and we had Raspberry beer while watching Eat.Pray.Love which was a very long movie!

2ND DAY OF V-DAY

I woke up late. We went to Santouka Ramen to eat. It was so good! Ahhh! I want more. Craving for some again (while writing this post. lol!). After that we decided to go to the mall to just walk. We went to Sephora and he got me some stuff there :)

Here's what he got me:

The eyeliners are gorgeous!

Then my love, as if the stuff he gave me isn't enough, gave me another present! ♥ He handed me a tiffany blue bag :)

I was squealing again.. it was unexpected! :D 

It's a gorgeous necklace! A heart in a heart. ♥ I love it a lot!!! Thank you so much my Angel! It's such a lovely gift!

After that, we went to Milk & Honey. Their caramel macchiato is so good! I love it! & of course Shaved Ice! It was sooooo good!!

Then we went to Mainplace Mall to just kill time. I saw the MAC Spitfire lipstick and decided to get it. It's such a pretty color to pass :)

Then after our great dessert, we went to meet up with our family and had dinner at Furaibo. Here's me wearing the MAC Spitfire lipstick.

I had such a great 2 day celebration of Valentine's Day! I'm so happy! Thanks to all those people who texted me, greeting me and also thanks to those people who gave me chocolates. So sweet!  ♥

Love Packs from my L♥ves! & Update

A little babbling.. (you know you want to read it! hahah! Just kidding)

Hello Everyone!! =) I just want to update you all what has happening with me.. I am working mornings until the 15th of this month and it just makes me so tired :( I am guessing I am not used to this schedule (8am-4:30pm) that every time I get home, I just want to curl up to my bed and sleep *sigh Oh, the reason why my schedule is like this because I hurt my back. We got into a car accident the day we got back from our vacation trip and I now suffer from back and neck pain. On top of that, I have bruises on my knees. It was really a bad accident. I am just thankful, not much damage have done and that Adrian is OK.

Adrian is still recovering (for those who didn't know, he had an ACL/Meniscus surgery) and is still using crutches. He can't put pressure on his right foot so he is having a hard time moving around the house, especially we live in a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator.

We haven't really settled in yet in our new home because Adrian couldn't help me with the heavy stuff. We bought a new dining table! YAY! I have been wanting to get us our own dining table since the last one that we had was a hand me down from our parents. I am so happy and will take pictures once everything is fixed here around the apartment. I am very happy with our new home  though. It's everything I have imagined! Quiet community, nice view, walk in closet, balcony. I just wish it has more storage space. We have no coat closet! lol. But I can manage to live without that :) I hope we won't have to move again for the next few years. Hahaha! It is so hard to pack, move, unpack. :( I still remember sometime last year when we moved in to that apartment (the one we had before). I knew that we won't be living there for a long time so I refused to even make holes on the walls. :P

If anyone is curious, I now live in Rancho Cucamonga (a minute away from Ontario Mills and Victoria Garden)

Ok, enough with my babbling. I probably bored you guys already :)

I had received so many love packs even before I went on a vacation, and I am so grateful to have met such beautiful ladies inside and out. They're just so generous and they love giving without waiting for anything in return, and I am so blessed to have them in my life. ♥

Mel is such a sweetie. She always surprises me with stuff, like my birthday last year, she had surprised me with a gift pack :) She is very thoughtful to have given me these stuff. How does she know I always use straw whatever I drink. Haha! I even drink coffee with a straw of fear that the coffee or even tea might stain my braces, so yeah even hot drinks, I drink it with straw. I go nuts and refuse to drink coffee when I can't find a straw. :P

Thank you so much sweetie, you are such a wonderful friend. Thanks for cheering me up during my crazy shifts at the hospital.

Juli also sent me a love pack just because :) She is sweet, young, very talented jewelry artistan. I have lots of her creations (mostly earrings) and I highly recommend her because her stuff is not only affordable but they are also durable and nice!!! Just look at the hello kitty necklace she sent me! So beautiful!!!

Kay is another sweet blogger. I have helped her get something from here but I didn't expect her to give me something in return. She is just so generous! Rae/Rina has spoiled me rotten already! Hahahah! She gave me so  much stuff, that I almost died in happiness every time I open a box from her. She is just too too generous!!! She has given me so much hello kitty stuff and mask already ♥ I can't even explain this girl's sweetness. I just smiled every time I see my drawer full of mask :) All thanks to her! I don't know what I've done to deserve such sweetness, such thoughtfulness from her.

Rina, I hope to meet you really soon. If our schedule won't permit, I hope early next year, we will be able to meet so I can thank you in person *hugs* love you!!!

I love this bag! Such perfect size to put masks or make up when you're traveling :)

She gave me more MBD masks to try. These are the new masks of MBD :) I love MBD Bird's nest the best -- it really brightens up your skin and rehydrates it. ♥

Then as if the above stuff wasn't enough, she sent me more stuff. Early Christmas presents. Aweeee!!! Such a sweetie! Look at all these stuff!

This made me squeal!!! I love HK nerd! OMG I will save up for the bag one to match this coin purse! It's so cuteeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! *squeals again* I am in love! hahaha!

YAY for lashes!! I want to use lashes everyday now. You can totally see the different when you use one :) It opens up the eyes. And this one she gave me doesn't poke my eyes so I love it. Rina, where can I get this nice lashes? :)

She also gave me magnets! So i put them on my refrigerator! So cute!! Heehee!!!

Look at my masks drawer! So much masks!! *Squeals*** She had fulfilled my masks cravings :)

Oh, btw, I have bought me a vanity dresser. I was going to get the regular vanity dresser which you would sit and do your make up but I fell in love with this malm 6 drawers because you can put so much stuff in it! It already has a mirror attached to it and you can close that mirror if you want to.

Sneak peak of one of the drawers are my nail polish :) I want more nail polish! Hahaha! :)

Hello again :) How's everyone doing? I'm currently sick (colds, flu).  I've been sick since last Thursday, but I worked during 4th of July weekend :( I've been reading last year's post (June 2009), i love looking back at what I did last year of this month.

1. Essie's Turquoise and Caios - I really love this nail polish color :) It's so "summery" and I love how the formula is easy to apply.

2. O.P.I. What's With the Catitude? - This is a nice shade of blue from the Shrek Collection! I also super love how easy it is to apply. I need a back up of this because I just super love it :)

3. MUFE HD Foundation - I love this foundation! It's great when you take pictures because it makes your skin look flawless :) I used this when I went to the Pow Wow :)

6. MAC Cream Blush in Bougainvillea - I like this cream blush! It gives you the "just pinched" look :) Very nice for the summer because its sweat proof :P

7. MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack - love love this eyeliner :) I have it for a year now and I haven't even "half" it yet! It's still creamy and didn't dry out on me. Love love this!

8. Clean and Clear Blotting Sheet (not pictured) - it's a must for me to have this on my purse at all times! My skin is dry during winter but during summer, it gets so oily like a frying pan. Ewww! I'm not used to being oily. But my cheeks are dry - that makes me a combination skin type. Hate it!

9. Clinique SPF 50 Body Cream (not pictured) - I used this when I went to Cali Adventure and I did not get any sunburn! Love this sunblock because its not greasy like the other sunblock. It also protects you from UVB and UVA

Love From Work

 I went to work last Saturday feeling really crappy because I was/still am sick. Then my co-worker came knocking to the med room where I'm working and handed me a tote bag and told me to feel better. When I opened what's inside, it's a Hello Kitty Pillow!! So sweet ♥

Then inside the tote bag there's also a hello kitty necklace and bracelet. Such cute stuff!

Also some pearl bracelet, necklace and earrings! Such beautiful pieces! ♥ I love my co-workers! They're so nice to me :)

I've been hauling nail polish these past few days :P I don't know what's with my nail polish addiction "/ It's getting worse!!

I also bought some Cuticle oil and Seche Plus nail strengthener because my nails will be brittle for sure when I take this acrylics off!

I got NARS Sheer Glow (which I love for daytime foundation!), Dior Addict Crystal Gloss, Korres Shower Gel and Body Butter.

This is like the best lipgloss I've ever tried! I'm not kidding!! It has gel consistency and it stays on my lips for a long time. It's not sticky either! Its what I use at the pow wow! I didn't have to re-apply it after I ate because it has a "lip stain" benefit :) So happy with it!

The OPI Mod About You is given to me by PINK and the extra Turquoise and Caios a Steel Grey are given to me by GIANG. ♥ them both!!!

...and awhile ago, Adrian took me to Cabazon to check out the sales. There isn't much that I like except some TR jeans.

They're my "guilty pleasure" Some people asked why spend so much in jeans? I don't know.. I just love how it fits and how it looks. I overheard some people I have met at the hospital talking about how ridiculous to spend so much money over jeans. Some people spend so much on their purses, some on their shoes, some of their hair, and some on  their faces, well i like my jeans!! :P
