Beauty Review: Beautymaker~Perfect Eyeshadow Palette

BEAUTYMAKER~PERFECT EYESHADOW PALETTE
It's a gorgeous palette with neutral eyeshadows perfect for a daytime look/toned down look/work or school eye look. It also has a nice packaging, very sleek in my opinion.

Product description from http://shoppingholics.com/:
Perfect Eyeshadow Palette provides 5 light to dark shades ranging from peach to brown color. These colors are capable of mastering the golden ratio of our eye. It is designed to fulfill the needs of different eye shapes, creating the perfect eye makeup. Thanks to its ultra-smooth texture, the eyeshadow can be easily applied onto the eyes with a gentle touch, providing long lasting makeup. The special integrated fine pearl powder can disseminate ultra-fine gloss on the eyes, creating a three-dimensional layering effect.

Price: $20.90

I was contacted  by the admin of http://shoppingholics.com if I wanted to try some of their products that they sell on their website. When I went to their website to check what they sell, I saw mostly colored contacts/circle lenses on their front page but if you clicked on the categories, you will see that they sell other brands too like Melliesh, Skin79, My beauty diary mask, and a lot more.

The shipping took more or less 2-3 weeks. It came in a bubble envelope and the palette inside was wrapped by another bubble wrap. It was carefully packaged which is a plus! The website is easy to navigate as well. You can also contact them prior to ordering products if you have any questions: admin@shoppingholics.com

PROS: I like the colors in this palette. I love using neutral eyeshadows, and it was very easy to blend. It also lasted more than 8 hours without creasing which I love! I don't like eyeshadows that crease. The eyeshadow is indeed smooth, and my eyeshadow brush easily picks up the color. I find the last 3 darkest eyeshadow to be the most pigmented out of the 5 colors.

CONS: I find the other 2 eyeshadow color to be very sheer. I guess that's good for highlighting but it was very sheer as you can see on my swatches. The darkest eyeshadow color is indeed pigmented but it has also lots of fall outs so watch out for that. I guess if you use the wand applicator that comes with it, the fall outs can be avoided but I don't like using that wand applicator so I use my eyeshadow blending brush. It picked up the color and when I was applying it, I noticed the fall outs below eye area.

This is after I went out the whole day...

...as you can see, the eyeshadow seemed to stay in place without creasing and yes this is without a base/primer. (I couldn't scoop out anymore primer on my UDPP, I think I need to cut that in half to see if there's more left inside)

OVERALL: I really liked this palette! (minus the fall outs as I don't have patience cleaning fall outs, unless I'll apply my BB cream/tinted moisturizer last) and it's great because it's light enough to carry inside your make up bag. I love the packaging! That's a big plus for me, i also love how its very easy to blend. Overall, it's a great palette to have in my make up stash :)

Haircut + More Pics of Our Place

HAIRCUT!
Hello Guys! ^_^ I finally got a haircut. I was going to donate my hair to locks of love but the end was too damaged. :[ They cut 5 inches off my hair. Now it feels so light :) It's now above my breast. Before it was down to my waistline or below that..

See how short the back is? Btw, the shirt is from MetroPark. :] Really love this shirt :]

Update on my acne: They are clearing! Yay! But lots of acne scars. You can't see them that much because I'm wearing MUFE Concealer. Love that concealer :] But I think I will try Amazing Concealer from Sephora :]

UPDATE ON OUR NEW PLACE
We are starting to put together this place by buying things one by one. If you follow me on twitter, you'll know that I just bought that black sofa you see in this picture :] I like everything simple. Its nice finished yet because we still have to buy a rug and a coffee table, so I will update you guys on that soon :]

Here is the bathroom and the living room. I bought this Anthorium plant to help out with the Breast Cancer foundation. 10% of their sales go to that foundation. I am more happy to help! :]

Then our living room with the black sofa that we bought. A coffee table is missing :P

Another plant that I got. I am not a plant person but I thought it looks so nice in the living room. Below shows the grill that my parents bought us :] Its very compact, perfect for our little balcony :] Then our little dining table. Only sits 4 people. Haha! :P

The outside of our place. So green! :] The weather is so gloomy today..

Hope you guys are having a great week! Will update again soon.. I think I'm calling off tomorrow to be with my family :] Btw, I almost broke my "no make up haul" OMG so many things at the CCO Ontario :[ I get so sad! Ahahaha!

Part 2: The Dinner [POW WOW 3]

Part 1: http://withadriyah.blogspot.com/2009/06/part-1-imats-pow-wow-3.html

So, this is the Part 2 of the IMATS/POW WOW Trilogy.. almost done! Sorry it took so long! I am still waiting for the pictures.. but I guess I get very impatient and just wants to finish our little trilogy now! lol.

Getting Ready!
Let's start where Adrian and I stayed and where I changed clothes and did my make up.

Yup, we got a room at Holiday Inn at Burbank. The hotel was nice, overlooking the pool. We were at 7th floor. The main hassle is that only 1 elevator is working at that time so it takes forever for us to go to our floor. Ugh. Well, anyway, the room is clean, most importantly, the bathroom is clean, but the flat iron does not work properly!

Yes, I'm wearing DSK Jewelry. Stunning isn't?

I did a very simple smokey eye with white eyeliner on my waterline to open up my eyes more, then MAC Dame Edna Powder.

The Dinner
We arrived at Tahoe Galbi kinda late because well.. errr.. we kinda missed our exit *blushes* but then again, they just started eating so its OK. I sat next to Miss Aubrey (Fafinettex3) but then we weren't able to take pictures as we were all busy chatting with each other. The place is exquisite! They have delicious food. All you can Eat!

Miss Pink and I [noticed that I kinda look fat on my belly?! I just freaking eat! I stuffed myself too much..haha or maybe I just have a chubby tummy!]

Miss Jess and I [again on the belly.. ahahh! I amuse myself too much]

Me, Miss Jess and Miss Ria [they are both HOT!!!]

Ria and Me! ..and Jess! ahahaha! She's such a cutie!

Jess trying to take my pictures but I snapped a photo of her 1st! She's just too cute!

Stolen Shots..

Me, Jess and Ria with her sexxxyyy legs! :D

Noticed how we are all looking at different directions? There were like 3 or 4 cameras taking our pics. I dunno where to look! AHAHA!

Jess and Me again :)

Then after the dinner [explains why I looked so bloated! I have a chubby tummy, isn't obvious yet? I keep on stressing it! ahaha] we had an exchanged gift. I got Angela so I gave her a palette which I bought at the IMATS and some mini gifts. I hope she likes it. I love that palette! I should have gotten one for myself. haha!

Guess who I got.. Miss Jess!! Woohoo!! Its funny because I tweet her asking what she gonna get for her secret swap, she's like "Oh I can't tell you coz what If you're my secret swapper?" and it came true! hahaha! Just look at all the goodies she got me..

She even gave me a picture of her.. weee!! I feel so special :)

..and yes my own Style Warrior lippie!! Yay!!! I feel so happy!!! :)

So, you think the night had ended?? NOPE!! We went clubbing afterwards and that's were all the craziness happens. Unfortunately, I don't have too many pictures of that night where we went clubbing so I gotta wait for Miss Jillian to email me some of the pics Miss Pink took.

Get Ready for Part 3: Into the Club! :)
