My Birthday Celebration!

First off, I want to thank everyone who greeted me on my birthday -- people who went their ways just to say Happy Birthday to me. I feel so loved by all of you! Thank you so so much! ♥

I started celebrating my birthday here the night of January 5th because it was already the 6th in the Philippines (where I was born). We got a Hello Kitty cake for me. The name even says Hello Kitty! ahahah!! :P

Here is my sister -- she is so  grown already. She's my baby :) She's only 14 but almost as tall as me already!

The next day, Adrian took me to Westminster to eat at Seafood Cove since I was craving for some Dimsum.

I was lmao when I was looking at my pictures. How stupid of me. Okay now it looks better right? I should add these images to my review! Hahaha!!

Here's some of what we ate at the Seafood Cove. I love their siomai! It's just so good! :D

After we ate, he brought me to Kim Lan `~ to get some facial wax. I love how detailed they do waxing there for a lesser price. I'm definitely going back there again for a facial. Their facial is $30/hour and she said she can do the acne removal and won't leave any acne marks. Hmmm.. I wonder if that's true.  Hahaha! I only had my first facial ever last year in the Philippines and that hurt `-`

After that, we went to Sephora because I needed another tub of Clinique Cleansing Balm! Yup, that's my HG make up remover!! :D

Then we went to watch a movie :)

BLACK SWAN

I actually liked it! Reminds me of where I work and how dangerous it is and how mysterious some things are. Hahah! Lots of skin picking and nudity. lol! I laughed at the part where the other girl asked the Black swan girl "was I good?" lol!

After dinner, he said he made a reservation at a restaurant :D Guess where? :)

The table was decorated with candles and there were petals of roses everywhere. It was just so romantic!

It was just so nice and I can't thank Adrian enough for being so effortful. I mean he was just recovering from his surgery. He's still won't able to work, so I wasn't really expecting him to do anything. But here he was, another surprise I wasn't expecting. It melts my heart. ♥

It's really good at The Melting Pot. For the amount of food you'll be eating, it's really not that expensive. We got the "Big Night Out® Four-Course Dinner" -- It's a 4 course meal! So prepare for the food porn! :P

Here is our 1st course -- Spinach Artichoke Cheese Fondue

It was so good! especially if you dip the apples on that cheese fondue! It was love!!!

2nd course -- The Melting Pot House Salad

I am not very fond of eating salad but this one really tastes great!

3rd course -- we had the Big Night Out Fondue Feast

it has sirloin, filet mignon, chicken, tenderloin, shrimp, ravioli, rigatoni, fresh vegetables, and lobster shrimp. The cooking style is Mojo which is very good! I seriously died with goodness! So flavorful!

4th course -- Chocolate S'mores

Seriously I think this is the highlight of our dinner! Hahaha! They have Rice Krispies treats, strawberries, bananas, cheesecake, marshmallows, pound cake, and brownies to dip into the milk chocolate with marsmallow cream and graham pieces. It was definitely heaven for me! I love chocolates!!!

Then they gave me a strawberry dipped in chocolates with a candle on top :P

I didn't make a wish. I prayed. I thanked.

Overall was a very great dinner. I enjoyed every minute of it. ♥ Thanks Adrian for that wonderful dinner. I love you so much. Thank you for making my birthday happy!

Parents gave me this cute cat and a Hello Kitty bag! I love it!

Rina from rae630.blogspot.com/ sent me some masks to try but she also added me this cute hello kitty bunny! My lucky charm for 2011 year of the rabbit :) Rina is so sweet, she's always spoiling me.. I'm going to get drowned with masks one day and I will be happy! hahahah!!!

Giang, baby ko.. http://xgianger.blogspot.com/ surprised me with this gift card. I love her a lot! She is the kind of friend you can count on and she will fight for you til the end. She is a keeper, and I'm glad she is my friend. She taught me that when hubby tries to fight with me, i'll just stick my tongue to him (and cross my fingers he will laugh and let go! lol)

Dianne (http://twitter.com/Dianne315) surprised me with these goodies! Hahah!! She is very very nice ;) I am so glad I got to meet her and I can't wait to meet her in person!!! :D

My sis/bro in law gave me these from BBW. I love the rice smell. This is my favorite! I can't believe it's seasonal though. I love the smell so much! It's not overwhelming or sweet. It's just right.

Again, thank you everyone who made my day so special. I don't know what I did to deserve such treatment from you guys but I am very grateful to be friends with you all. I love you all! ♥ Happy Weekend!!!

Random Updates: 9

Hello Everyone =) I have been in a good mood since Monday.. weird eh? LOL! It's the time of the month so my mood swings usually gets crazy.. ☺ My Monday doesn't seem that busy, it actually went by fast.. and now its Wednesday and I'm off.. Thursday is my "Monday" but I don't really care that much.. 

I'm really loving my LV artsy MM. I've read mixed reviews regarding about it. Some people L♥ve it.. Some people don't.. We have different opinions, but one comment made me laugh, it was that he/she thinks that only "kid's arm" can fit into the handle of the Artsy MM bag. Hahahah! I may be skinny, but I do not have a "kid's arm".. so whatever :P  Probably that person has hippopotamus arms :P

Skin Update: I have some new skin care products that I am trying right now.. Its only been a few days so I can't review them yet but I will soon :) I won't reveal them yet.. :P Some of you commented that my skin seems to be getting better. Hmmmm.. a little bit, but not a lot! It seems like I have flawless skin in pictures, that's because the L'egere BB cream is doing its job covering the nasty pimples and acne scars. Amazing coverage isn't?

I also bought some brush guards for my brushes. It claims to protect the vulnerable bristles of the make up brushes. We'll see.. I will do a separate review for this.

DSK earrings, Pigments and More!

Hello once again! ^_^ Long time no comments.. I haven't been really on blogger. Like I said, I wasn't feeling very well (emotionally) so I took some time off of blogger. I've been feeling a little sad lately.. Maybe its the holidays? Studies show that if you have been feeling depressed, it will be more likely to get worse during the holiday (i.e. missing some families, financial stuff, or broken hearted). So lately, I've been re-assessing my life and just trying to focus what's important and what not. Think Positive as what they say so I'm trying.. ^_^


So, I bought some stuff.. retail therapy does help you know? :P Just little stuff to make a girl smile :D

I ordered the Light Sapphire Sterling Threads and my parcel came with a goody bag full of treats. Yay ^_^ Earrings look so beautiful.. i love it! I love all the earrings I ordered through her :)

I also bought an O.P.I . nail polish called "Holiday Glow" It's just too pretty don't you think?  I want all the O.P.I. polishes from the Holiday 2009 collection, especially the Merry Midnight, Ginger Bells, Dear Santa, and Shim-Merry Chic. I want to buy them all!!! ^_^

I also bought some pigments for the holidays. They are just too pretty! Shimmery.. Ooohh I'm loving everything that shimmers. Must be the holiday effect. º_^ I'm excited to use them..

Also my skin needs some TLC so I decided to buy this. It claims that it cleans clogged pores. We'll see :) Reviews later.. I love the smell!! It smells so sweet, truly a grape smell :D

Then we went to an oriental store and I saw this powder. I used to use this before back in the Philippines. I used to love Ponds products especially their cold cream. :) Now this powder claims that it helps with acne. We'll see. Reviews later.

I also saw this bar soap and it claims that it will whiten any dark spots so I'm hoping it will lighten my acne scars ^_^ Reviews later also.

Whew! That's a lot of pictures and info for the day.. I have more stuff to post.. I'll do it soon.. The next post would be about some boots that I got.. hahaha.. Happy Holidays ^_^
