Perfume Search + Ask Me Anything!

Hello guys. Well, I can't sleep. I was suppose to be at work right now but I got sent home. Boo!!! I was so ready to make that moolah you know? Haha.. Anyway, just finished drinking my hot choco which Adrian prepared for me.. Brrrr.. so cold in here. I hope the rain will stop soon :)

I'm on a perfume search so please please help me!! :) Please comment what is your favorite scent and what kind of scent it is (e.g. Burberry Brit Sheer - floral and fruity kind of scent). I appreciate it so much and Thank You guys in advance.

I have joined the Valentine's exchange gift with the other Beauty bloggers and I already bought some things for my Secret Valentine ^^ I'm so happy I got her. She is special to me. Hahaha. I will buy the rest of the things I'll be sending next week so I can send it at the end of the month. So excited.

Anywho, I was surfing through some facebook comments and got interested in this site: formspring.me
It's where readers/friends can ask you questions either anonymously or they can reveal their identity. Kind of fun don't you think?? So if you have any question, ask away! :) I will be posting a widget on my side bar if you guys are interested in asking  me ANY questions. hahaha. Of course I will try to answer all the questions.

Love you all and see you next post! *wink wink**

FAQs & DIY Brush Guards

FAQs [FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS]

Some of you guys asked me these questions frequently so here goes:

1. "Where did you get that Hello Kitty container?"
  • The Steralite drawers came from TARGET then I bought some Hello Kitty papers at Michaels and decorated the container with it. I believe they don't sell the Pink containers no more. I saw some Blue and Green there though.

2. "What brand is your Mirror and Where did you buy it? Is it bright?"
  • The brand is called Homedics and we got it at Costco and it costs $39.99 + tax. It has incandescent illumination and its not that bright. In my opinion, you still need a separate lamp when doing your make up at night.

3. "How do you take care of your hair?"
  • I only use heat tools [straighteners, blow driers, curlers] once a week or sometimes even once a month. I try not to! If I do, I use a Tresemme heat protector before using any heat tools. As much as possible, I let my hair air dry. I condition my hair everyday and keep a wide angled hair brush in the bathroom so after I condition my hair, I ran that brush to my hair to untangle it. Hair is very fragile when wet so be very careful. Towel dry, but remember to just pat it gently. Don't rub! They tend to get split in the ends when you do that. Try to not use any rubber bands when your hair is wet.

4. "Where did you get the beads inside your brush holder?"
  • I bought the beads at Michael's.

--

5. "Did you Eskinol Pearl worked for you?"
  • Unfortunately I lost it, and can't find it and wasn't able to get another one yet. Will update this sometime soon.
--

6. "What CCO do you go to and what are the collections they have right now?"
  • I go to the one near me which is the Ontario Mills Mall. They currently have Dame Edna Palettes, Heatherette Palettes and BP, and Emmanuel Ungaro stuff.
--

7. "Why do you buy so much make up?"
  • I really don't know. I know I'm an addict. That's all. ^^
--

8. "Where do you buy all your Japanese products?"
  • I buy them at Marukai or Mitsuwa which are all located at Orange County

--

9. "Where did you buy the Laneige Strawberry Yogurt Peel?"
--

10. "How do you make DIY Brush Holders?"
  • I actually got this idea from a fellow blogger who deleted her blog and videos. Her name is ilurvemakeup and she did this tutorial before on her blog.

Materials:
Any paper you chose
Your make up brush
Scissors
Scotch Tapes

Cut the paper in any size you want

Roll it the size of your brush then tape the ends

Roll it on your brush to see if it fits. If it doesn't, make adjustments

I also decorated the end of my make up brush with this HK tape

This is how it looks like when you roll it down

Enjoy your paper brush guards! :) Be creative and use different papers.

Let me know if you guys have any more questions and I'll be glad to add it in here :) Have a good day!

Questions Answered Part 2

Q and A

Q: Why do you still have to use disposable lip brushes when you are the only person using your lip products?
A: I work in the  medical field and often times I catch bacteria and whatnot that makes me sick.. I don't like to be putting my bacteria and virus on my lip products so I just use a disposable brush, so when I'm feeling better, I'm confident that there's no virus on all of my lip products. :p

Q: Where did you get those disposable brushes? I want one.
A: Sephora - just ask  the MUA if you can have some. or at MAC - if they are nice enough :P

Q: Did you get anything from the Rose Romance Collection?
A: No.. lol! I just want the Rose BP and when I tried them on earlier, they were too sheer for my taste so I skipped it. :) Plus I need gas money for San Francisco!

Q: When will you be at the Bay?
A: I will be there May 1st til May 3rd. Hopefully I'd get to meet you lovely ladies there! :D

Q: Will you swap again?
A: I will.. but only to my trusted friends here on blogger :) Its actually stressful for me right now to swap. I need money more than anything right now..

Q: Where did you get your Pink Storage for your make up?
A: I got it at Target. I noticed they don't have the pink one no more. I saw green and blue ones though :)

Q: Where do you work and what do you do?
A: I work in a State Hospital near where I live. I am a Psychiatric Technician. I work with criminally insane individuals. I work very closely with Psychiatrist and Psychologist. I give them report. I counsel people. I am good at counseling others - not to myself. ahaha!

That's it for now.. I hope I satisfied some curiosities :) I don't mind the questions.. :)
Oh yes, I skipped the Rose Romance Collection. I'm glad it was too sheer for my taste or else I would have been tempted like a vampire to a fresh blood. :p I need money  because we will be driving to San Francisco this weekend and gas + food + hotel cost so much! Pacquiao better win or I'll lose $30! hahaha!

I also cooked today! Surprised? Even Adrian was! I cooked some Chicken Soup (Tinola). Its chicken and chayote (sayote) then I put some spinach in it and chicken broth to add some flavors. :)

I had been craving for green mangoes since Kasumi and I talked on twitter so my co-worker got me some.. YUMMY! Its so sour but I love it :)

That's it for now.. I hope you guys a beautiful Monday tomorrow. :) G'nite!
