My Birthday Celebration!

Note: lots of pictures in this post

First off, I want to thank everyone who greeted me on my birthday -- people who went their ways just to say Happy Birthday to me. I feel so loved by all of you! Thank you so so much! ♥

I started celebrating my birthday here the night of January 5th because it was already the 6th in the Philippines (where I was born). We got a Hello Kitty cake for me. The name even says Hello Kitty! ahahah!! :P

Here is my sister -- she is so  grown already. She's my baby :) She's only 14 but almost as tall as me already!

My love :D

The next day, Adrian took me to Westminster to eat at Seafood Cove since I was craving for some Dimsum.

Ohh!! and you guys were right, I got the lower lashes wrong on my Beauty Review: http://withadriyah.blogspot.com/2011/01/beauty-review-lower-eye-lashes-from.html Hahahah!! I was lmao when I was looking at my pictures. How stupid of me. Okay now it looks better right? I should add these images to my review! Hahaha!!

Here's some of what we ate at the Seafood Cove. I love their siomai! It's just so good! :D

After we ate, he brought me to Kim Lan `~ to get some facial wax. I love how detailed they do waxing there for a lesser price. I'm definitely going back there again for a facial. Their facial is $30/hour and she said she can do the acne removal and won't leave any acne marks. Hmmm.. I wonder if that's true.  Hahaha! I only had my first facial ever last year in the Philippines and that hurt `-`

After that, we went to Sephora because I needed another tub of Clinique Cleansing Balm! Yup, that's my HG make up remover!! :D

Then we went to watch a movie :)
BLACK SWAN
I actually liked it! Reminds me of where I work and how dangerous it is and how mysterious some things are. Hahah! Lots of skin picking and nudity. lol! I laughed at the part where the other girl asked the Black swan girl "was I good?" lol!

After dinner, he said he made a reservation at a restaurant :D Guess where? :)

The table was decorated with candles and there were petals of roses everywhere. It was just so romantic!

It was just so nice and I can't thank Adrian enough for being so effortful. I mean he was just recovering from his surgery. He's still won't able to work, so I wasn't really expecting him to do anything. But here he was, another surprise I wasn't expecting. It melts my heart. ♥

It's really good at The Melting Pot. For the amount of food you'll be eating, it's really not that expensive. We got the "Big Night Out® Four-Course Dinner" -- It's a 4 course meal! So prepare for the food porn! :P

Here is our 1st course -- Spinach Artichoke Cheese Fondue
It was so good! especially if you dip the apples on that cheese fondue! It was love!!!

2nd course -- The Melting Pot House Salad
I am not very fond of eating salad but this one really tastes great!

3rd course -- we had the Big Night Out Fondue Feast
it has sirloin, filet mignon, chicken, tenderloin, shrimp, ravioli, rigatoni, fresh vegetables, and lobster shrimp. The cooking style is Mojo which is very good! I seriously died with goodness! So flavorful!

4th course -- Chocolate S'mores
Seriously I think this is the highlight of our dinner! Hahaha! They have Rice Krispies treats, strawberries, bananas, cheesecake, marshmallows, pound cake, and brownies to dip into the milk chocolate with marsmallow cream and graham pieces. It was definitely heaven for me! I love chocolates!!!

Then they gave me a strawberry dipped in chocolates with a candle on top :P

I didn't make a wish. I prayed. I thanked.

Overall was a very great dinner. I enjoyed every minute of it. ♥ Thanks Adrian for that wonderful dinner. I love you so much. Thank you for making my birthday happy!

Just want to say thank you again to those who made my birthday extra special :D

Parents gave me this cute cat and a Hello Kitty bag! I love it!

Steph from dskjewelry.blogspot.com/ sent me this for Christmas but it was also in time for my birthday. Thank You Steph! My fellow year of the rabbit blogger friend :D

Rina from rae630.blogspot.com/ sent me some masks to try but she also added me this cute hello kitty bunny! My lucky charm for 2011 year of the rabbit :) Rina is so sweet, she's always spoiling me.. I'm going to get drowned with masks one day and I will be happy! hahahah!!!

Giang, baby ko.. http://xgianger.blogspot.com/ surprised me with this gift card. I love her a lot! She is the kind of friend you can count on and she will fight for you til the end. She is a keeper, and I'm glad she is my friend. She taught me that when hubby tries to fight with me, i'll just stick my tongue to him (and cross my fingers he will laugh and let go! lol)

Dianne (http://twitter.com/Dianne315) surprised me with these goodies! Hahah!! She is very very nice ;) I am so glad I got to meet her and I can't wait to meet her in person!!! :D

My sis/bro in law gave me these from BBW. I love the rice smell. This is my favorite! I can't believe it's seasonal though. I love the smell so much! It's not overwhelming or sweet. It's just right.

Again, thank you everyone who made my day so special. I don't know what I did to deserve such treatment from you guys but I am very grateful to be friends with you all. I love you all! ♥ Happy Weekend!!!

Beauty Review: Lower Eye Lashes from KKCenterhk

I have received some lashes from KKCenterhk. I got excited because I think wearing faux lashes adds up to a look you want to achieve. I don't use fake lashes every time I do my make up. Sometimes only for special occasions because I admit, I have a hard time putting it which sometimes it doesn't even look "natural" anymore. lol!

A021
ES
1 Box 10 pairs Clear liner cross under Lower lashes
$3.50

I have never used faux lower lashes before! I admit, I had a hard time putting it. It looks relatively easy to put one as you just glue it on your lower lashes near your own lashes but its just hard for me to position it right.

PROS: It is cheap! 1 box for $3.50? Yes I would so buy it! They also shipped it to me pretty fast. And the lashes can be re-used if you take care of them (e.g. wash with make up removal cleanser). They look nice and maybe if I have put them right, they would have looked  natural. lol!

CONS: I'm not sure if it's my fault but its poking the side of my lower lash line. Maybe if I adjust it right next time but that was what I was thinking the whole time I was wearing it. "why is it poking the side of my eyes? ugh!"

OVERALL: I like it! I would buy some again and possibly try other styles too! I have looked at their website and saw different styles already that I wanted and I'm sure I'd buy off of them since its the cheapest lashes I've ever seen yet. They look like they would look natural (~the upper lashes~) as they're hand made and real hair. So excited to get some upper lashes for myself ♥

Here is their website: http://www.kkcenterhk.com
Here are the selection of lashes: http://www.kkcenterhk.com/m1/ES/index.html?page=1

So many great styles to choose from!

Have you tried wearing lower lashes before?

FTC: I did not get paid to do this post. I am not affiliated with KKCenterhk or any company. I received the lashes for free for review purposes only and these are my honest opinions based on my personal experience.

Singapore-Philippines Vacation -- Part 5

Note: lots of pictures in this post

OMG so sorry for the lag of my vacation posts! For the people who are new to my blog (hello!) I went on a short vacation last October to Singapore & Philippines. I only stayed out of country for two weeks but it was enough for me to enjoy those two countries! It was the best time of my year 2010 ♥

Here are the recap:

I divided them into parts because I took so many pictures! Now onto Part 5! Hooray!

Our last day at Singapore, we went sight seeing. Of course we won't leave without seeing the famous Merlion. We went to the Merlion Park. It's so beautiful! Especially at night :)

hahah! this is too funny!

I guess that's the world's largest ferris wheel? I want to ride it but I heard its expensive! Hahah! Must be gorgeous up there :)

This is the most gorgeous building I've ever seen in my life! Just look at the structure of this building! It's breath-taking! I wanna go up there :D It's scary too if you think about it.

and before the night ended, we went shopping at Bugis Junction! This is suppose to be where the cheapest stuff is. Kind of like "Divisoria" in the Philippines. Some are still expensive but I managed to buy some stuff to bring home to the Philippines for my love ones there :)

So many people at the train station (pardon if you ever see your face in my blog, I just randomly pictures the scene).

That's the end of my Singapore Trip. Overall it was very nice experience. Singapore is clean, the people are nice there and everything is just too great! The food and stuff can be expensive. :P If I ever go back, I'll go to Sentosa Islands again because that's where I enjoyed the most. ♥

We flew back to Manila after 5 days of staying at Singapore. When we land, I craved for green mango juice right away. Haha! It was like 6am (i think?) when we land, I was starving because I didn't like the airplane food (yeck!). So we went to eat at Aristocrat (?) and I got my green mango juice there! Hooray! It's that good!

I was so hungry, I wanted to eat already when they were serving the food.

I love the Kare Kare! So yummy!

Sinigang! Hmmmm...

That's only the start of my Philippine Vacation. I didn't take so much photos in the Philippines as much as I did in Singapore because I was more with the family than going around sight seeing.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading my vacation posts. Please wait for the PART 6 of my Singapore-Philippines Vacation. Hahah! Yes, I'm not done yet :P
