Singapore-Philippines Vacation -- Part 2

Hello again! :) Continuation of my Vacation ♥

We arrived in Singapore Oct 27 midnight. Their airport is so beautiful! They have places where you can play XBOX, use the internet or watch 3D movies for FREE. They also have this mini forest somewhere in their airport. :) I love it!

We stayed at Copthorne Orchid Hotel. They didn't have free wifi. If you want internet, you have to pay SGD11 = $9/hour or SGD29 = $24/whole day. Which I think is very expensive XD

The roads in Singapore is very nice, very clean. I noticed that the driver's seat in a car is in the opposite side. :P Also you can't chew gum nor spit in public :)

I also love the weather there. It's hot, but its not blazing hot :)

I forgot where we went to eat but all I can say is that the food is expensive here in Singapore. :P Some places even charge tap water for .20cents and some other place charges napkin -- so make sure to bring some napkin with you all the time :P

We went to the mall, so many kawaii things but expensive. Hahaa!

They have a lot of fake lashes there, but still cheaper here (i think?)

I went to Watsons and got excited when I saw this:

But my heart sank when I saw the price. Yeah I'm so cheap XP It's SGD22 for a drugstore mascara. Ahhhh!!! Maybe it's cheaper in other countries. :P

Canmake!! Still much cheaper at apopofkawaii.com so I didn't get any.

Went to this mall - ahhh!! i forgot the name :(

I saw the Tartan Tale there but when I converted the SGD to $$$, it's more expensive in Singapore so I didn't get any.

Singapore-Philippines Vacation -- Part 1

Hello Everyone! Long time no post! I know, I've been MIA.. I've been away.. I had been very busy. I also went on a vacation :) A lot of you know where I went as I was also updating my twitter :)

This is at the LAX Airport :) We left Oct 25 midnight.

Destination: Singapore

Stop Over: Korea for 1 hour and Philippines for 7 hours

I never liked the plane's food. It's just not appetizing at all. :| But I do like Korean Airlines better than Philippine Airlines.

Haha! Doing the Asian pose :P Arrived at the Philippines for another stop over :) I was in  line for the immigration.

Our stop over at the Philippines was about 7 hours so we decided to get out of the airport and eat or shop before we board the next plane to Singapore.

Jeepney! Have you ride one? I miss it! It's been 7 years since I tried commuting :) I was so excited that I kept on looking at the road, the streets, the cars, the houses, the people. I miss everything about the Philippines - and yes even the heat, even though I complained alot for the first few hours there. Haha!

Me, being shock about the road here -- how people drive and how some people don't follow lanes. :P

We went to eat at Abe. I love the food there. Everything was so yummy!

This green mango smoothie is just my favorite! My mouth is watering right now just thinking about how good this drink is. Hmmmm....

We had Kare-Kare and Sisig. We also had calamari (not pictured). I ate so much that day. I got so hungry because I didn't really like the foods they serve at the plane.

After eating, we decided to go to the mall, where I had my eyebrows threaded for only $2! So cheap :) I didn't even feel any pain and normally I cringe with pain every time I get my eyebrows threaded. Adrian also got a haircut for only PHP300 = $7 (and that's suppose to be their master's stylist price already). Enjoyed the trip so far and this were only our stop overs. Haha!

Also on the other note, Adrian had his ACL, Meniscus surgery today. I was so worried and nervous about it. The surgery went well. Please pray for him for fast recovery as he is having a hard time walking right  now. I will be his private nurse for the next few weeks.

I also moved to another apartment. So hectic this week. Unpacking is SO NOT fun :(

Beauty Review: Hello Kitty Flipper Toothbrush Holder

I normally place my toothbrush on top of the sink. I know, sounds gross right? Since my sink is next to the toilet and I never thought that toilet water might reach my toothbrush. YUCK! It never even occurred to me that there's so much germs in the bathroom, or I guess I never just paid attention.

So I came across to this website: http://myflipperusa.com/ and to my luck, they sent me a sample to try! Yay! I was so excited for it! I chose the Hello Kitty one for sure, because you know I love Hello Kitty! :) They have four types of Hello Kitty toothbrush holder. I actually want the Panda Hello Kitty.

What is Flipper? (information taken from their website)

Flipper is a unique and patented product. Its functionality derives from its simple, but ingenious open and close mechanism. While other toothbrush holders in the market place open and closes manually, the Flipper toothbrush holder opens and closes with the stroke of the toothbrush.

How to use:


1. Moisten the suction cup with water and then press firmly against the bathroom mirror or glass.

2. Using your index finger, reach under the flipper, push the small tab to the left which will push the two halves of the body apart.

3. Insert the toothbrush head and press against the back of the flipper and automatically the flipper will snap shut. When you pull your toothbrush towards you, the flipper will automatically pop open.

My thoughts:
I think its a cute way and very hygienic way to store your toothbrush. Especially those people like me who have the habit of just leaving your brush on top of your sink or any place in the bathroom. Plus it's cute! :P It will totally make your bathroom mirror cuter. Hahaha! :)

Hello from Singapore! :)

Hello my loves!! I'm currently in Singapore and updating through my iPhone. I'll be staying here 'till Nov 1 then I'll be going to the Philippines after that for a week. It's only a short vacation and hopefully I can update my blog with pictures soon! :) wifi here in Singapore is very limited and expensive! $11/hour! So that's why I haven't been updating that much. I miss you all. I miss Cali. I miss blogging. Don't forget to enter my give away :)

Beauty Review: DKNY Be Delicious & Give Away! --CLOSED--

DKNY BE DELICIOUS!

Unfortunately, I am no Snow White, but I do find this perfume indeed delicious! ♥ You see, I rarely like a perfume. I only have selected perfumes (maybe 2 or 3) that I like. Some scents make me dizzy, some scents make me get a migraine.

So when DKNY sent me this perfume to try, I was hesitant to spray it on my wrist (note that every perfume smells differently on people) because I was thinking that it might give me a migraine. I had it for a week on my drawer then finally yesterday, I sprayed it on my wrist and the back of my ears, and surprisingly, it smells good that I kept on smelling it over and over again!

You know how sometimes certain scents or smell triggers you to remember something from the past? Well, this perfume happens to make me remember my first time here in the US :) I am not sure why, but probably one of the notes that are in this perfume was something I had smelt when I arrived here. ♥ It was a pleasant memory so when I sprayed this, it made me smile :)

Notes:

American Apple, Cucumber, Grapefruit, Candid Magnolia, Tuberose, White Muguet, Rose, Violet, Sandalwood, Tender Skin Accord, Blonde Woods, White Amber.
