Sick Day + Hauls

Hello again!! :D I called in sick today. We call it "emergency time off/ E-Tday" I had a sore throat and I really feel sick. I was just going to stay in bed but the hubby insisted that we go out, get something to eat and get some fresh air. So I agreed.

We went to eat at Santouka Ramen. Yum!! It totally made me feel a lot better :)

Then he brought me to a massage place! I felt good and happy :) Then we got some krispy kreme donuts on the way home. :) I feel a lot better now and I think I'm ready to go back to work tomorrow :P

Oh yeah, these past few days, I bought some stuff :)

Hello Kitty Panda bag which I got at Hot Topic! It was $26 something and they were having 25% off sale so it was cheap! Yay!! It's so cute also!!!

Converse was also having 30% off so Adrian *the hubby* and I got matching shoes again!! :D I love the "no lace" concept. I had one before and I used it until it died on me. Hahaha!

Also I bought this Collagen spray because its so hot nowadays, I just want to put this in the fridge and spray it whenever I feel hot/warm.

Nails of the Week!

I have painted my nails twice this week! =) Yay for using my nail polishes! Hahaha!! Seriously though, some of the nail polish I have in my drawer have not been used once or twice :(

Here is my new Essie "too too hot" from the Brazilliant Collection. It's such a pretty red! I love the formula and how creamy essies' are.

I used Essie Turquoise and Caios on my pinky and dotted a white nail polish dots to make it look like a strawberry. It's so much fun and so easy to do =) This nail polish color is attention grabber! I've been asked so many times what color is it ♥

Next nail color is the OPI "Swimsuit... Nailed it!" Can you believe that this is just ONE COAT? Yes, just one coat! So creamy! So easy to work with!

I'm back to work again tomorrow.. my days off go by quick. I love being home though. Some other times, I like being alone. The "ME" time. I like being able to shop around, do my nails, get a pedicure or sometimes just walk around alone. :)

When I'm off, I don't like wearing make up. Lipgloss is enough. Like the picture  below which was taken 07.18.11 (yesterday). I feel light and carefree.

Quick Hello!

Hi everyone!! =) Just a quick hello to say that I have missed blogging.. I have so many pending beauty reviews coming!!! and OMG July is almost done!! I hope August would be more fruitful than my July.. hahaha :]

It's already 2:27am and I'm about to sleep. I worked 16 hours last night and went home at around 7:30am but instead of sleeping like I should, hubby and I went out. He brought me to Cabazon Outlets and we went to Converse --  they were having FF Sale 30% off! Woohoo!! Will show you guys what we both (yes, matching again!!) on the next post :)

So here's me this morning, NO SLEEP. My eyes look so tired. Thank goodness for h20 eye mender cream! That's still my holy grail eye cream. For the past year, I've gone thru 3 jars of that already! Hahaha! I just love it :)

Oh, and I was craving for some Ramen but Santouka Ramen is too far from my place so I settled for Cha-siu Ramen at Kabuki Restaurant by Victoria Gardens. It's pretty good!! took my Ramen cravings!! They have more meat servings than Santouka for sure.

and OMG have you guys seen the Sephora Graffiti Collection? The palette is so gorgeous, that I want one!! But knowing me, I know I won't use it.. It's just going to be in my drawer and I will probably take it out from time to time to stare at it.. That's how crazy I am. I still want it though. C'mon Sephora FF Sale! LOL!

I have some lashes to review.. hope I'll be able to do that soon! =) Oh, I also removed DISQUS again! Gah, I can't make up my mind! As much as the comment interaction is nice and convenient, I was getting too much SPAM on it. I hate itttt.. so yeah, back to normal comment box! You should not wear lens to sleep or for more than 8 hours. Always wash your hands before putting them and when you're taking them out. Always use eye drops if you feel like your eyes feels dry. Again, don't use these kinds of lens if your eyes are too sensitive or if your doctor tells you not to.

When I was selecting what colors of circle lens to try, the color green is actually last on my list. I was actually considering purple/violet rather than green. For me, having green eyes is just somewhat scary. I don't know, that's just me though. I'm scared that green eyes can be overwhelming for me or that I'd look really different. But somehow Shinny green circle lens proved me wrong. The colors look so light when I first saw them in the bottle. I was like "dang, these lens are so light, they might look light on my eyes!"

But since my eye color is dark brown/almost black, it actually gave me these nice kind of green color which somehow does not look scary at all. Hahaha!

"The Green Eyed Monster" lol :P These pictures are when I was testing them. I went out, got myself a mani and pedi and was shopping alone the whole day. I was testing the comfortability and if they get dry (as I mentioned, I have astigmatism). Surprisingly, they are very comfy. Like the Shinny Pink Circle Lens, I didn't need eye drops for the whole 8 hours that I worn it. Pretty amazing huh?

Like the Shinny Pink Circle Lens, it doesn't seem to give me the "huge eye" effect. I'm happy that they look somewhat natural - at least that's what people have been telling me..

Blogger Meet Up 070311

It was such a great day yesterday! Although the weather is burning hot, I managed to enjoy my day with great company ♥♥♥

Angelique came to my place to pick me up to go to Rowland Heights..

There we met up with Rina, Brian and Eki. (Rina and Brian are such cute couple!!)

OMGOSH!! Finally after such long blogger years, I finally met the sweet and cute Erika (Eki) (ekiblog.com) In case you don't know, she has such a nice blog full of kawaii stuff :) Her reviews are amazing ^_^

After Coconut Bay, we went to imperial beauty supply for some nail polish shopping :)

We got some stuff at Imperial Beauty Supply.. you can never leave that place empty handed for sure!!

Miss Universe is in!! Such gorgeous glitter polishes ♥ I'll post these polishes up in a separate post.

"I Lily Love You" and "Play the Peonies" (i love the color of this play the peonies nail polish! It's light pink and its just perfect)

China Glaze Memorable Moments nail polishes are such nice colors :) Couldn't resist it at all..

Essie "Braziliant" are such gorgeous summer-y colors! I don't know why I'm missing one color. :( I'm pretty sure I grabbed them all. Made me sad.

I love my Lucido-L Hair Treatment so much (I'm on my 2nd bottle) so I thought why not try the Pink one which suppose to give you "soft waves" :) We'll see.. 

I also bought some essentials such as shampoo/conditioner and nose peel.

After Imperial, we all decided to go to "boobies" cafe as Angelique calls it. Hahah! We went to GZ cafe where the servers wear lingerie. It's an experience all right. Hahaha!!!

Ordered Avocado shakes.. the server in her boobie covered by pasties and almost none existent butt assists us and she is very friendly :)

That concludes my day yesterday.. so much fun!! and my aunt gave me a hello kitty necklace. It's so cute!!! :D I almost squealed when I got it :)
